(at least 1 dose of Pfizer or Moderna, or 1 shot of J&J by your start date) Description of Duties: DRIVE SAFELY AT ALL TIMES! Keep accurate and legal digital logs, inspection sheets, mileage reports, and other reports as required. Make sure dash cameras are on and recording at all times while driving in the truck. Keep truck clean. Keep track of and report all tractor maintenance issues. Keep track of and report all trailer maintenance issues, including inspection stickers, license plates, and vehicle registrations. Perform minor maintenance to tractors and trailers. (fluids, lights, air lines, tire inflation, etc) Check all tires before pulling any of our trailers and inflate as necessary before pulling. Do not pull loads that exceed legal axle/bridge weights or legal gross weights. Hustle throughout the day – we want the safe, expedient, efficient movement of trailers throughout your entire shift Service locations are specified in a professional manner, providing personable interaction with customers where applicable. Ensure any materials which are confidential in nature are handled with special care per company instruction. Manage effectively the route assistant(s) assigned. Report any personnel issues relating to inadequate or improper performance of the route assistant(s) to management immediately. A good working relationship between all employees is a must. Minimum Skills Required: Class B license with experience driving CDL vehicles Clean 7-year MVR High School Diploma or equivalent No criminal record involving theft, robbery, embezzlement, or similar convictions. Neat appearance Good oral and written communication skills; General reading and basic map reading skillsAbility to follow specific directions customer service skillsAbility to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly during the day.
