Roll-Off Dispatcher (Early Shift, 5am–1pm, Mon–Fri) Tiger Dumpsters · Remote (Based on North Reading, MA) $50,000 to $55,000/year based on experience · Full-time · Monday–Friday, 5:00am–1:00pm plus evening routing (30 mins to 1 hour) About us Tiger Dumpsters has been a family-owned roll-off dumpster company in eastern Massachusetts since 1991. We run about 17 trucks and 300+ containers for contractors and homeowners across eastern MA and southern NH. We’re a small team, so the dispatcher is at the center of the day and makes a real difference. The role You’ll be the main point of contact for our drivers every day. When a driver has a question, hits a problem, or needs to know where to go next, they call or text you. Your job is to keep trucks moving, cans getting placed, and the day on schedule. What you’ll do Answer the driver phone line (calls and texts) from 5am to 1pm Run the daily board: assign jobs, adjust routes, swap trucks, and fit in same-day jobs from customer service Tell drivers where to dump each load: the right facility, account, and material Handle blocked or unclear drop-offs using our standard process: contact the customer, document with photos, and log trip fees when needed Coordinate truck problems with our mechanic, park unsafe trucks, and re-plan around them Track container inventory so drivers know what’s available and where Handle late arrivals and call-outs, and rebalance routes Bring in our lead driver for tricky sites, such as low wires or tight access Flag safety, personnel, and customer issues to the general manager Build the next day’s board in the evenings once all orders are in What we’re looking for 1+ years of dispatch experience in trucking, waste, construction, towing, or logistics (roll-off experience is a big plus -- trucking dispatch experience a must) Someone who stays calm and decisive when the phone is ringing nonstop Knowledge of Eastern Massachusetts towns and roads a plus Comfort with dispatch software, GPS tracking, and texting from a business line Reliability, a 5am start means a 5am start A CDL or roll-off driving experience is a plus, not required What we offer $50,000 - $55,000/year Monday–Friday, 5am–1pm + evening routing, no dispatching after 1pm PTO, 7 paid holidays, flexibility, and a seat at the table A small company where you work directly with the owners and your input shapes how we run Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year Benefits: Paid time off Application Question(s): How many years of dispatch experience do you have?
