Roadside Assistance Driver - Houston, TX Houston, TX and Surrounding Areas Independent Contractor | Flexible Scheduling We are seeking reliable drivers to assist motorists with basic roadside service needs throughout the Houston area. This is a field-service position for someone who is comfortable driving locally, interacting with customers, and handling straightforward vehicle-related service calls. Position Overview Roadside assignments may involve common situations such as: Vehicle lockouts Battery jump starts Flat-tire assistance Emergency fuel delivery Other light-duty roadside services Training resources are available for qualified providers. Equipment and tool options are also available depending on the services being performed. Previous roadside experience is helpful, but experience with every type of roadside service is not required. Your Responsibilities You will travel to assigned customer locations, assess the service request, perform the appropriate basic roadside service, and communicate with the customer throughout the visit. Other responsibilities include: Following service instructions Using a smartphone for navigation and assignment details Working safely around vehicles and traffic Recording completed service information Maintaining professional customer service What We Are Looking For Valid driver's license Reliable vehicle Current auto insurance Smartphone with GPS Dependable and punctual Comfortable working outdoors Able to work independently Professional communication skills Willingness to learn A heavy-duty tow truck is not required for the basic services associated with this position. Work Schedule Scheduling is flexible and based on your availability and assignments in your service area. This position may be a good fit for someone seeking part-time work, additional income, or a flexible independent contractor schedule. Houston Area Coverage Assignments may be available across the greater Houston area, including: Houston, Katy, Sugar Land, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, Pearland, Friendswood, League City, Pasadena, Deer Park, Baytown, Channelview, Humble, Kingwood, Spring, The Woodlands, Cypress, Tomball, and surrounding communities. Specific assignments will vary by location, demand, and availability.
