Road Service Trailer Mechanic

Title : Trailer Mechanic Department : Heavy Transport Maintenance Pay: $22/hr -$25 About us: We are a trucking company located in Porterville CA and we are looking for a qualified road service trailer mechanic to add to our shop. Our mechanics work on a variety of trailers to include agriculture flatbed doubles, refrigerated trailers, dry vans, walking floors, end dumps, belt trailers, tankers, and hoppers. We are looking for a mechanic who has experience with a commercial trucking company and has worked as a road service tech on similar trailers that we run. Job responsibilities: Trailer Repair General 90 day inspections Landing gear replacement. Brake inspections, replacements and adjustments on all types of trailers. Suspension repairs. Electrical R&R Tires - change, rotate and mount/dismount Some wood working with flooring/panel replacement. Install/replace permanent tarps on top of trailers Perform other duties as assigned by the Shop Supervisor. Minimum qualifications: Must have valid drivers license Clean driving record 2+ years of experience High school diploma or GED. Authorized to work in US.
