or proposal and bid management in the technology industry.
- At least 5 years of technical writing experience focused on SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS cloud solutions.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace.
- Located in the Central U.S.; Texas is preferred to support AMER and APAC tenders.
- Preferred: Experience with proposal automation tools such as Responsive, Loopio, or Qvidian.
- Preferred: APMP or PMP certification.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Salesforce or similar enterprise cloud platforms.
👩💻👨💻 Your responsibilities are:
- Independently manage the full bid process for public sector RFIs, RFPs, tenders, and unsolicited proposals across SaaS/PaaS, education, and nonprofit business lines.
- Schedule and lead strategy and kickoff calls with subject matter experts, legal, security, and sales teams.
- Develop, write, edit, and organize compliant, persuasive general, functional, and technical response content using existing libraries, AI tools, or original research and writing.
- Create bid schedules and response plans, coordinate content development, and manage multiple proposal deadlines at once.
- Maintain and update a central library of completed public sector responses, proposal boilerplate, and local-market tender content.
- Contribute to Go/No-Go evaluations, prepare clarification questions for procurement officials, and track solicitation amendments.
- Conduct post-bid reviews and debriefs to identify efficiencies and support ongoing improvements across the global RFx team.

We are seeking a Bid Manager for our Global RFx Center of Excellence to lead public sector proposal development and support growth across our cloud SaaS and PaaS offerings. This is a telecommute contract role with working hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and an advertised pay range of $26.40–$31.40 per hour.
