THE JOB: The Revenue Control Distribution Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the department's business processes. The specialist will have assigned tasks that will require a mixture of data entry, technical, and analytical skills. The candidate will set the stage for our internal and external guests by owning the experience for them. THE STARTING RATE: $19.00 hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Generate and distribute necessary reports for business units and upper management. Maintain and update all filing and data storage systems, upload documents for business unit retrieval. Ensure everything follows departmental policies and procedures to ensure successful internal/external audits. Ensure the proper upload of all information in Service Fee Distribution System, all entries are validated, and splits are input correctly with any variances resolved. Notify Management of any issues. Support the daily Revenue Control departmental functions, including Catering and Banquet check closing process and validation, revenue recording, and service fee validation and distribution for multiple business units and properties. Audit and Validate information from business units, verify accuracy and ensure any discrepancies are corrected. Complete spreadsheets and data upload; input into appropriate systems and ensure all revenue is recorded properly in POS system and service fee distribution systems. Promote an effective working relationship amongst the Finance Shared Services Center, the business unit, other corporate departments and Revenue Control. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: Has 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in Hotel and/or Catering and Banquet, or related experience. Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays. Have a High School Diploma or GED - Preferred. Has 2+ Years of prior relevant experience in Catering and Banquet environment - Preferred. Has 1+ Years of prior relevant experience in Accounting or Payroll Experience - Preferred. Experience with POS systems, Sales systems and payroll systems - Preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Outlook, Power Point, Word) and Adobe software, including constructing spreadsheets, use of formulas and formatting - Preferred.
