The core responsibilities of this role include: Schedule truck deliveries and pick-ups; works closely with customer service; Works with Client Representatives; Works with truck driving firms; coordinates drivers, equipment and freight; ensures all shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time; must be able to operate a High Reach Forklift; Must be able to train in Arlington and then migrate to the new Lone Star facility in Lancaster. Position: Returns Processor Shift: First Shift Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm Days: Monday - Friday Pay: $20.00 per hour Location: Training Location - Arlington Facility: 1131 W. Bardin St. Arlington, TX Migration Location - Lone Start Facility: 2301 E Longhorn Drive, Lancaster, TX 75134 Required Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year experience operating an high reach forklift; Shipping & Receiving experience; Customer Service representation Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience using an High Reach; previous experience using a sit down forklift; continuous physical demands such as lifting, bending, standing; Accurate record keeping In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Loading/Unloading insulation products, Lots of lifting, standing, bending and using Sit Down Forklift, Material Handler, Loader/Unloader, Order Picking, A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating material handling equipment is Preferred. Shape your world. Role Purpose : Opens and verifies returned merchandise, scans merchandise, and places freight in proper locations. Key Accountabilities : Load, unload, move, stock, and stage product. May require using powered equipment. Verify proper item is in the original packaging in preparation for scanning. Assure accurate and proper processing of all freight utilizing the scanning system. Identify items that require special processing or separation (e.g. hazardous material, store services, research, salvage). Ensure that scanned freight reaches the appropriate destination (e.g. slot, destroy, salvage). Stack and tape pallets in a safe manner. Observe all safety and sanitation standards. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
