Summary: The Returnable Container Associate is responsible for cleaning, inspecting, and sorting returnable containers, pallets, and lids to ensure they meet Niterra quality standards and customer requirements. This second-shift role (Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM-10:00 PM) involves identifying customer-specific containers, separating conforming from non-conforming materials, operating cleaning equipment, and completing accurate documentation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Classification: Hourly Work Model: Onsite Responsibilities: Perform returnable container cleaning functions. Identify customer-specific containers, pallets, and lids. Sort conforming from non-conforming returnable containers. Inspect materials to ensure they meet Niterra quality standards per Niterra guidelines. Start up and shut down equipment and machinery, and adjust settings as required. Complete necessary documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Satisfactorily meet customer requirements. Operate non-turret style Powered Industrial Trucks on occasion. Maintain a clean and organized workspace in accordance with 5S standards. Notify the Team Leader promptly of any abnormalities in product or machinery. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Adhere to all company policies and procedures as applicable. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong attention to detail, with the ability to distinguish conforming from non-conforming containers. Able to complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner. Able to work overtime, often on short notice, and adapt to shift work.
