Warehouse Receiver – Retail KSC Foods | Full-Time | Warehouse-Based About the Position KSC Foods is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to support our Retail Distribution operations. This position is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, documenting, and storing incoming food products while maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting efficient warehouse operations. The Warehouse Receiver operates forklifts and other material-handling equipment to unload shipments, move products into designated storage locations, and maintain organized inventory. The ideal candidate has previous warehouse experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety. Key Responsibilities Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders, bills of lading, and other receiving documentation. Identify and report shortages, overages, damaged products, and other shipment discrepancies. Operate sit-down forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other approved equipment to move, stack, and store products safely. Place and retrieve palletized products from designated warehouse storage locations. Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, and product movement records using Company systems and handheld scanners. Label, stage, organize, and put away incoming merchandise to support inventory availability and warehouse efficiency. Assist with inventory organization, product movement, and outbound trailer loading as assigned. Follow food safety, equipment safety, and warehouse housekeeping standards. Qualifications Previous experience in warehousing, distribution, receiving, or inventory handling required. Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift required, including the ability to handle palletized products safely. Ability to complete Company-required powered industrial truck training and evaluation. Ability to read and interpret receiving documents, product labels, and inventory records. Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to identify shipment discrepancies. Ability to lift and handle individual items weighing up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment and meet operational deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in food distribution, grocery products, inventory management systems, and electronic receiving documentation. Schedule & Travel Schedule: Full-time, with no regularly scheduled Sunday work . Specific workdays depend on operational needs. Start Time: 7:30 AM. The workday may extend until assigned receiving and warehouse activities are completed. Location: Warehouse-based position in the Phoenix, Arizona area. Travel: No routine business travel required.
