The Role As an Omnichannel Retail & Fulfillment Associate, you will sit at the crossroads of our entire business infrastructure. This is a dynamic, full-time hybrid role where no two days look quite the same. You will act as the face of the brand on our retail sales floors, work as a precise maker operating our custom embroidery equipment, provide multi-channel customer care, and run the logistics engine behind our e-commerce and wholesale order fulfillment. Reporting Structure: This position reports directly to the Store Manager in close coordination with our Operations Director, giving you a highly supportive, cross-departmental foundation for professional growth. Where You’ll Work Retail Sales & Custom Embroidery: Alternating shifts across our boutique retail storefronts in La Conner, WA and Anacortes, WA. Logistics & Order Fulfillment: Grounded primarily at our central operations facility in Anacortes, WA. Key Responsibilities Engaging Retail Floor Sales: Greet store guests with genuine enthusiasm, share the rich stories behind our characters, and guide families to the perfect gifts using an empathetic, value-focused sales approach. Precision Embroidery Operation: Master the setup and operation of our in-store embroidery machines to personalize plush friends and apparel—turning beautiful products into custom, lifelong family keepsakes. Multi-Channel Customer Care: Deliver exceptional "24 Carrot Support" across all communication pipelines, resolving customer inquiries seamlessly in person, over the phone, and via email. ECOM & Wholesale Fulfillment: Print, pick, pack, and ship orders for our direct website (Bunniesbythebay.com) alongside high-volume wholesale shipments. You will navigate our Acumatica ERP platform and ShipRush software to maintain total accuracy. Vendor Compliance Management: Work directly with specialized EDI systems (SPS Fulfillment), handle ground and freight shipments for key accounts, and carefully follow detailed vendor compliance manuals. Inventory & Visual Merchandising: Execute inventory stock transfers between business channels, run regular cycle counts, keep picking stations stocked, and merchandise retail floors according to corporate planograms. Who You Are An Adaptable Multi-Tasker: You love a variable workflow and can naturally pivot from high-energy conversation on a busy retail floor to quiet, focused execution in the warehouse. Quality and Detail-Driven: Whether you are aligning an embroidery needle, verifying a wholesale freight manifest, or hand-crafting a gorgeous gift wrap package, you take true ownership of your precision. Tech-Savvy: You enjoy learning new programs and are comfortable navigating retail POS systems, integrated digital apps, and large backend database software. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 1–3 years of experience in retail sales, customer care, or logistics/warehouse fulfillment environments.
