Job Title: Retail Warehouse Associate Employment Type: Full-Time Location : Lathrop, CA, United States Work Model: On-Site Compensation : $17.50 – $20.00 / hour + Full Benefits About the Role: We are recruiting on behalf of Ashley Furniture for a Retail Warehouse Associate in Lathrop, CA. In this active fulfillment role, you will receive and stage furniture shipments, perform merchandise inspection and assembly, manage customer order pickups, and support delivery vehicle loading. Key Responsibilities (Warehouse & Staging Operations): Receive, unload, inspect, and organize incoming furniture shipments within the retail fulfillment center. Assemble, inspect, and detail furniture pieces to ensure merchandise meets Ashley quality standards. Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups, hardware adjustments, and repackaging on display and customer orders. Safely operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, order pickers, and hand carts. Conduct cycle counts, physical inventory audits, and digital barcode scanning to maintain inventory accuracy. Key Responsibilities (Customer Order Fulfillment): Carefully wrap and load customer purchases into guest vehicles with friendly, professional customer service. Stage and verify scheduled orders for home delivery drivers to ensure route accuracy. Keep the warehouse floor, customer pickup desk, and storage racking clean, organized, and safe. Accurately maintain receiving logs, delivery manifests, and safety checklists. Required Skills & Qualifications: Physical capability to safely lift, push, pull, and maneuver furniture weighing up to 100 lbs throughout shifts. Prior experience in warehouse fulfillment, material handling, or furniture assembly preferred; training provided. High attention to detail regarding inventory accuracy, product finish, and proper paperwork completion. Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor when assisting retail guests. Strict adherence to workplace safety standards, equipment protocols, and personal protective equipment. What the Role Offers: Competitive starting hourly rate of $17.50 – $20.00 / hour.
