Job Posting Title: Retail & Warehouse Associate Position Type: Full Time or Part Time Location: Brew for Less - 10774 95th St, Edmonton Wage: Starting at $18.25/hour, negotiable based on experience About Us: We are a small, family-owned homebrewing supply store and ferment-on-premise business. We are looking to add one full-time or two part-time members to our team. While brewing experience (wine, beer, mead, cider, kombucha, etc.) is an asset, we are willing to train the right applicant(s). This role blends hands-on brewing tasks with retail and warehouse operations. We are a small business, which means all staff members help out where it’s needed, when it’s needed. Duties: - Receive incoming shipments, stock shelves, organize the warehouse, and repackage raw inventory with precision. - Accurately pick, pack, and ship retail and wholesale online orders. - Help walk-in customers, guide folks through the bottling process (we'll train you), and manage phone inquiries. It's common to spend 30+ minutes working closely with the same customer so a patient and friendly attitude is a must. - Perform standard retail cleaning and organizing duties. - Assist with on-site fermentation and brewing tasks as needed (we’ll train you). Requirements: - Must be 18+ with a valid Pro-Serve certification (or a willingness to obtain it immediately). - Physically capable of lifting up to 55 lbs regularly to manage inventory and brewing tasks. - Experience with, or a desire to learn about, homebrewing. - Previous retail or customer service experience is strongly preferred. - Tech-savvy enough to independently navigate workplace software and POS interfaces. - Highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently and actively seek out productive tasks to keep operations running smoothly during downtime. Availability Requirements: Full-Time: Must have open availability until 5:30pm on weekdays and 4:00pm on Saturdays. Part-Time: Must be available at least 3 days a week until 5:30pm on weekdays and 4:00pm on Saturdays. You must be available either Mondays or Saturdays. We understand people take vacations and need certain days off, but your standard availability must fulfil these requirements. What We Offer: - Guaranteed, regular hours: 5 days/week for full time and 3+ days/week for part time, and you will be off no later than 5:30pm everyday. - Flexible scheduling options with a set routine; you will work the exact same days every week.
