Job Summary Lowry's Feed & Farm Supply located in Madison, Georgia has an opening for a Retail Warehouse Associate. This position ensures warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. In this vital role, you will handle inventory management, assist with loading customers, and support retail store functions by ensuring products are properly stocked, maintained, and ready for sale. Responsibilities Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to load, unload, and transport merchandise safely and efficiently. Manage inventory control processes including stock replenishment, cycle counts, and inventory management to ensure accuracy and availability of products. Assist with shipping and receiving tasks by processing inbound and outbound deliveries, and maintaining detailed records. Support retail store functions through product stocking, merchandising, packaging, and maintaining clean storage areas. Handle manual tasks involving heavy lifting while practicing safe lifting practices to prevent injuries. Use communication skills to coordinate with team members on daily warehouse activities and customer service needs. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by performing routine cleaning, maintenance checks on equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Requirements Previous warehouse experience or retail store experience is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and RF scanners; certification is a plus. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory management and stock control. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with diverse team members or customers. Basic math skills for counting inventory and processing transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting 50 pounds regularly and safely throughout the shift. Knowledge of retail product merchandising, shipping & receiving procedures, and general warehouse operations is desirable.
