Responsibilities Lead and supervise retail sales teams to meet and exceed sales targets through effective coaching, motivation, and performance management. Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and POS (Point of Sale) system usage to ensure smooth transactions. Manage employee orientation, training, and development initiatives to build a skilled and knowledgeable team. Conduct interviewing and recruiting processes to attract top talent aligned with store needs. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and pricing adjustments with accuracy and attention to detail. Maintain inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting audits, and implementing purchasing strategies. Utilize management skills to coordinate shift schedules, supervise cashiering activities, and ensure excellent customer service standards are upheld. Communicate effectively with team members using managerial communication skills to foster a collaborative work environment. Implement operational procedures for store safety, cleanliness, and organization while adhering to company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles within the retail industry sales team management environment. Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, sales management, and operational oversight. Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing, and recruiting processes. Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management tools, merchandising techniques, and basic math for cash handling and pricing. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively across multiple priorities such as stocking, merchandising, and shift management. Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are preferred to serve diverse customer bases effectively. Supervising experience in retail stores or grocery environments is highly valued. Effective communication skills essential for leadership roles including managerial communication and phone etiquette.
