The Retail Supervisor is responsible for motivating team members, driving sales performance, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting overall store objectives. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a hands-on approach to coaching and developing team members. Success in this role depends on the ability to lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and ensure customers receive outstanding service during every visit. Supports retail operations on a part-time, event-driven schedule, with contingent hours based on business needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS - Serve as a visible leader on the sales floor, providing direction, coaching, and real-time support to team members. - Assist customers with product selection, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner. - Supervise store shift operations, including opening and closing procedures and POS transactions. - Ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and presented according to company standards. - Maintain accurate inventory levels through replenishment, stock organization, and inventory audits. - Delegate tasks and prioritize workload to ensure operational goals and checklists are met. - Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the sales floor, stockroom, and all customer-facing areas. - Address escalated customer concerns and provide solutions that support customer satisfaction and business objectives. - Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at a high level. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. - Demonstrate strong leadership, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions with customers and team members. - Previous retail supervisory, key holder, team lead, or equivalent leadership experience preferred. (+2 years) - Strong customer service, communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills. - Proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members in a fast-paced retail environment. - Ability to prioritize tasks, make decisions, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively. - Be flexible with scheduling and available to primarily work evenings, weekends, holidays, and additional hours as business needs require. - High school diploma, GED, or equivalent retail leadership experience preferred. - Experience with POS systems and inventory management processes. - Ability to follow and enforce opening and closing procedures accurately and consistently. - Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods during scheduled shifts. Pay: From $16.00 per hour Work Location: In person
