CAREER OPPORTUNITY Job Title: Store Supervisor Location: 5014 50 Ave. Leduc, AB Wage: Dependent on experience Employment Type: Full-Time ABOUT WATER and ICE Co. Water and Ice Co. is a fast-growing bottled water and bagged ice manufacturer based out of Leduc, AB. We run a local store front while delivering water and ice to Leduc, Edmonton, and surrounding areas. Position Overview The Store Supervisor takes primary accountability for the day-to-day operations of Water and Ice Co’s retail store. This involves working in and providing oversight on all functional areas of the store’s operations including employee management, customer service (including assisting customers with heavy items), inventory management, production of inhouse products, records management, financial management, governance, compliance, and much more. While the Store Supervisor will have staff available, they are expected to act as a back fill for any activity needed to ensure the smooth running of the store. General Responsibilities Employee management responsibilities including leading, coaching, scheduling, regular performance reviews, and documentation. Opening and closing the retail store on time every day, arming/disarming of security system, filling or emptying cash drawers, daily cash and card balancing, etc. Running of retail store including occasionally on your own and keeping up with the fast pace required to serve customers and restock shelves. Reviewing and recommending products to be sold from the retail location. Procurement of inventory items, accurate inventory tracking of delivered and received items, and planning orders to ensure shelves remain stocked. Financial management including preparing reports or reviewing and interpreting reports provided. Cleaning and care of premises such as vacuuming, sweeping, and general tidying. Taking customer calls and arranging for the fulfillment of delivery orders in support of our Factory location. Assuming secondary responsibility for production of inhouse products and restocking store shelves. Administrative and organizational responsibilities. Loading and unloading of product from vehicles as needed. Ability to lift 44 lb. repeatedly. Other duties as required. Qualifications 5 years prior retail experience. Prior leadership experience an asset. Schedule flexibility and willingness to work varying shifts within the Store’s operating hours (Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM). Willingness covering sick/vacation days for other staff or assisting last few customers past closing. Ability to lift 44 pounds repeatedly. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suit an asset Responsiveness and ability to problem-solve. Professional attitude and strong communication skills. Familiarity with Lightspeed POS an asset.
