Retail Store Associate – Customer Service & Shipping

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Store Associate to assist with daily retail operations. This position involves working directly with customers to provide shipping, packing, printing, mailbox, and other business services. The ideal candidate is friendly, professional, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, communicates effectively, and works well independently and as part of a team. Essential Job Responsibilities Assist customers with domestic and international shipping services. Process shipments, package drop-offs, returns, and customer transactions. Provide professional packing services for a variety of items. Assist customers with printing, copying, document finishing, banners, posters, and other print-related services. Support mailbox rental services, mail acceptance, and package handling. Explain available products and services and help customers select appropriate solutions. Process retail transactions accurately and operate store systems. Maintain an organized, clean, and professional store environment. Resolve customer questions and concerns in a courteous and timely manner. Support daily opening, closing, and general store operations. Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficient store operations. Contribute to individual and store sales goals through customer service and product recommendations. Qualifications & Skills 2+ Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience preferred. Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable using computers and learning new software applications. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Positive attitude and willingness to learn new responsibilities. Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, as needed. Work Environment This is an in-person retail position requiring interaction with customers throughout the day. Associates will work with shipping equipment, computers, printers, packaging materials, and general retail operations. Candidates should be comfortable standing for extended periods and occasionally lifting and handling packages. Employment Type: Part-time, based on availability and business needs.
