Retail Store Associate

Overview We’re on the lookout for a friendly and energetic Retail Store Associate to join our vibrant retail team. In this role, you’ll be the face of our store, helping customers find what they need, providing excellent service, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and offer assistance to enhance their shopping experience. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits of new or popular items. Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts. Upsell products by suggesting complementary items to boost sales and customer satisfaction. Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, basic math calculations, and receipt processing accurately. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and phone etiquette. Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organizing back-stock for easy access. Support the team with supervising experience when needed, ensuring store policies are followed. Promote a positive shopping environment by communicating clearly and maintaining cleanliness. Experience Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key! Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is a plus. Experience in grocery stores or similar retail environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, help connect with diverse customers. Basic math skills are necessary for accurate cash handling and sales calculations. Experience in merchandising, product demos, or upselling can help boost your effectiveness on the floor.
