Retail Shipping Associate

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Retail Shipping Associate to join our team. This role is crucial in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shipping experience for customers. As a Retail Shipping Associate, you will assist customers, manage packages, and contribute to the overall success of our retail packing and shipping operations. Duties - Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shipping needs. - Assist customers with their packages using our POS system to find the best shipping option. - Answering the phone to answer questions and provide customers with price quotes. - Assist in shipping tasks, ensuring timely processing of packages and mail. This will include aiding team members with packaging of boxes. - Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized store. Qualifications - Previous experience in retail or warehouse settings is preferred but not mandatory. - Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory counts. - Familiarity with Point-of-Sale systems (POS) is a plus. - Proficient using a computer with data entry experience. - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude are essential. - Ability to work flexible hours, including Saturdays during peak seasons (December). - Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
