Retail/Shipper/Receiver Year Round Organic Farm Market

We are looking for long-term part-time help (30 hours per week) to join our team at Morden's Organic Farm Store. Potential candidate must be a mature, hard-working, positive, self-motivated individual who excels when working in a team environment or independently. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to: customer service, filling and receiving orders, cashier, receiving, labelling, and stocking product. Required Skills: 1. Strong communication skills. 2. Strong organization, time management and multi-tasking skills in a busy environment.. 3. Knowledge of meat and some computer skills are an asset. 4. Food handlers certificate an asset. Physical Demands and Working Environment: 1. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and push pull and maneuver heavy loads. 2. Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel and squat. 3. Must be able to stand and be on one's feet the majority of the work day. 4. Must have a vehicle and able to travel to work each day and arrive on time. 5. One aspect of the job includes handling frozen meats. Starting wage is $20. Healthy wage increases based on performance. Serious inquiries only.
