Retail Sales Consultant

Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and identify their needs through active listening and engaging conversation Demonstrate products effectively, highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer understanding and interest Assist customers with product selection, upselling relevant items to maximize sales opportunities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and processing payments Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current products Conduct stock replenishment, inventory checks, and organize merchandise for easy access Provide excellent phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone or scheduling appointments Support store cleanliness and organization by stocking shelves and managing inventory levels Requirements Previous retail sales experience or familiarity with grocery store environments is preferred Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs Experience with POS systems, cashiering, and basic math for handling transactions confidently Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to assist team members when needed Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail math principles for inventory management Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone etiquette approach Familiarity with upselling techniques to enhance sales performance Basic understanding of grocery store operations is a plus but not required Join us in creating a lively shopping environment where every customer leaves satisfied!
