Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide expert advice on lawn care, landscape maintenance, floral design, and gardening products Assist customers with product identification, including plants and horticultural supplies, ensuring they find exactly what they need Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling, sales transactions, and returns Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves to ensure products are attractive and accessible Support inventory management through stocking, inventory counts, and replenishment of outdoor tools, plants, and floral items Deliver excellent customer service via in-person interactions and phone communication to address inquiries promptly Apply retail math skills to handle cash register operations accurately and balance cash drawers at shift end Skills Strong knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, horticulture, and gardening techniques Experience with plant identification and floral design to assist customers effectively Proficiency in POS systems, cashiering, cash handling, and retail math for smooth transaction processing Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Outdoor work experience preferred to comfortably handle physical tasks such as stocking or outdoor setup Organizational skills for merchandising, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative in customer service roles This dynamic position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail sales expertise while sharing their passion for gardening and outdoor living.
