Retail Sales Associate - Bilingual and Social Media Preferred

About the Role We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our showroom team! This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role where no two days are exactly the same. You will be the face of our company—greeting customers, managing inventory, and ensuring every person leaves happy. The Perfect Split: Approximately 90% of your week will be focused on hands-on showroom operations, customer service, and warehouse inventory management. The remaining 10% of your week (about 2 to 4 hours depending on your schedule) will let you flex your creative muscles by helping us post on social media and shape our digital marketing footprint. We prefer a full-time team member at 40 hours per week , but we are flexible and happy to accommodate a part-time schedule as low as 20 hours per week for the right candidate. What You'll Do Daily (90% of the role) Showroom Excellence: Warmly greet customers walking into our showroom, answer incoming phone calls, and assist guests in finding exactly what they need. Customer Delight: Provide top-tier service to ensure every customer is happy with their purchase, including researching and sourcing "special order" items. Inventory & Warehouse Operations: Pull stock from the warehouse to keep showroom shelves full, tag and label items, and price inventory accurately. Quality Control: Audit and verify that incoming inventory is error-free, pristine, and ready for the showroom floor. Creative & Social Media Focus (10% of the role) Content Creation: Snap photos and videos of new showroom items, happy customers, or behind-the-scenes warehouse updates. Social Media Management: Help execute a basic weekly social marketing plan and publish engaging posts across our social media platforms. Qualifications & Skills Bilingual Fluency: Ability to speak fluently in both English and Spanish is highly preferred to best serve our diverse customer base. Retail/Customer Service Experience: Proven experience in a retail showroom, customer service, sales, or inventory role. Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift, push, pull, and move stock from the warehouse to the showroom shelves. Social Media Flair: Comfortable using platforms like Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok, with an interest in helping a small business grow its online presence. Detail-Oriented: A sharp eye for caught-errors in pricing, labeling, and inventory tracking.
