Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and offer knowledgeable assistance on lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, and floral design products Identify plants and gardening supplies to match customer needs and provide expert recommendations Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cash handling and transactions Maintain organized merchandising displays and stock shelves with seasonal plants, gardening tools, and outdoor equipment Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and conducting stock counts using retail math principles Support e-commerce orders by preparing online purchases for pickup or delivery when applicable Provide excellent customer service through clear communication via phone or in person, addressing questions about plant identification or outdoor work projects Skills Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant identification, lawn care, landscape maintenance, and floral design Experience with POS systems, cashiering, retail sales, and cash handling procedures Excellent communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Outdoor work experience with a focus on gardening or landscaping projects Organizational skills to manage merchandising displays and stock levels effectively Ability to perform retail math accurately for transactions and inventory counts Knowledge of e-commerce platforms to support online order fulfillment when needed Customer service expertise with a friendly attitude and proactive problem-solving skills This dynamic role is perfect for individuals passionate about outdoor work, gardening, or retail sales who thrive in energetic environments.
