Job Title: Retail Sales & Coffee Bar Team Member Location: Inlet Beach, FL ( 30A Adjacent with Easy Parking ) Position Type: Full-Time / Part-Time Job Summary Are you passionate about gourmet food, exceptional specialty coffee, and providing world-class hospitality? 30A Olive Oil Co. is seeking a dynamic and versatile Retail Sales & Coffee Bar Team Member to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our shop—seamlessly blending the artistry of a high-end barista with the knowledge of a gourmet culinary guide in our fast-paced retail space (featuring a walk-up coffee bar with no sit-down seating). Located just steps away from the heart of Scenic Highway 30A with hassle-free employee parking, you will help create an unforgettable experiential environment for locals and visitors alike. Key Responsibilities 1. Guest Experience & Retail Sales Welcome every guest with genuine warmth and hospitality. Guide customers through our tasting room, sharing knowledge about our premium extra virgin olive oils and aged balsamic vinegars. Actively engage in retail sales, offering pairings, product suggestions, and gift-curation ideas. 2. Coffee Bar & Barista Excellence Prepare and serve a premium menu of custom espresso-based coffees, specialty hot and iced teas, and signature energy drinks from our retail coffee bar. Maintain consistent recipe standards, beverage quality, and beautiful presentation for on-the-go guests. Keep the coffee bar station, espresso machine, and beverage equipment meticulously clean and sanitized throughout the shift. 3. Merchandising & Inventory Management Maintain our signature tasting experience by safely refilling and restocking our premium fusti (stainless steel storage containers) with olive oils and balsamics. Ensure retail shelves, grab-and-go sections, and coffee bar supplies are beautifully styled, fully stocked, and properly rotated. Assist in receiving inventory shipments, verifying counts, and organizing storage areas. 4. Shop Operations (Opening & Closing) Perform efficient Opening Duties to ensure the shop is guest-ready (e.g., dialing in espresso, setting up tasting stations, ensuring pristine cleanliness, and counting the morning register). Perform thorough Closing Duties to secure the business for the night (e.g., breaking down and cleaning coffee bar equipment, restocking for the next day, sweeping/mopping, balancing the POS drawer, and securing the building). Qualifications & Skills Experience: Previous experience in specialty coffee environments and/or high-end retail/hospitality is preferred, but a passion for learning is a must. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to tell a story about our products and build rapport with customers. Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain a spotless, organized workspace under pressure, with strict adherence to food safety standards. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift/move 20 to 30 lbs (essential for handling product inventory and restocking bulk oil and balsamic containers). Availability: Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays (peak times for our vibrant coastal community).
