POSITION OVERVIEW We are seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and detail-oriented Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate is personable, motivated, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping customers. This individual should have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to take initiative without constant direction. Our Retail Sales Associates are responsible for more than assisting customers. They play an essential role in driving sales, maintaining the overall presentation of the store, supporting daily operations, and upholding the standards that define the shop. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Experience & Sales Greet every customer warmly and create a welcoming shopping environment. Provide attentive, personalized customer service. Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend products. Demonstrate strong product knowledge and confidently communicate product features. Drive sales through thoughtful recommendations, upselling, and cross-selling. Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business. Assist customers with selecting gifts and provide beautiful, professional gift wrapping. Promote in-store experiences, including the Charm Bar, Press Bar, and permanent jewelry services. Handle customer questions, concerns, and returns professionally while following store policies. Store Presentation & Merchandising Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor at all times. Restock merchandise continuously throughout each shift. Ensure products are properly priced, labeled, and displayed. Assist with merchandising, displays, and seasonal transitions. Keep shelves, counters, fixtures, and product displays dust-free and properly arranged. Maintain high presentation standards throughout the entire store. Take initiative to identify and address areas requiring attention. Daily Store Operations Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale system. Follow opening and closing procedures thoroughly. Receive, unpack, label, and organize incoming merchandise. Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment. Maintain an organized stockroom and storage areas. Complete assigned daily tasks efficiently and accurately. Communicate inventory shortages, customer requests, and operational concerns to management. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines. Teamwork & Accountability Work collaboratively with management and fellow team members. Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work. Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong sense of responsibility. Follow instructions and complete assigned responsibilities without repeated reminders. Take ownership of individual performance and daily responsibilities. Communicate proactively when tasks cannot be completed or additional support is needed. Accept feedback professionally and demonstrate a willingness to learn and improve. Maintain a positive, respectful attitude toward customers, coworkers, and management. QUALIFICATIONS Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. A genuine interest in gifts, jewelry, fashion, and lifestyle products.
