Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting gardening supplies, landscape materials, and retail merchandise. Provide expert advice on horticulture, gardening techniques, and landscape maintenance to enhance customer satisfaction. Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain attractive product displays through merchandising and inventory organization to maximize sales opportunities. Support e-commerce initiatives by processing online orders and coordinating in-store pickups when needed. Handle cashiering duties efficiently while ensuring excellent customer service throughout every interaction. Assist with stock replenishment, inventory management, and organizing merchandise to ensure a well-stocked store environment. Requirements Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key! Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers. Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance enhances your ability to assist customers effectively. Excellent organizational skills for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintaining store cleanliness. Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while providing exceptional customer service. Basic familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online order processing is advantageous. A proactive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to engage customers confidently and professionally.
