Retail Representative

Job Overview As a Retail Representative, you’ll join customers in the visually stunning and fascinating world of underwater life And help them make their home aquarium dreams come true. Via attentive customer service, retail sales, and visual merchandising. You’ll help customers both in-store and online find exactly what they need, keep merchandise organized and available, and support store presentation projects. This role may also involve leadership, supervising experience, and training and development responsibilities, depending on the position’s scope. Duties Welcome customers, answer questions, communicate with clients, and support sales using strong communication and customer service skills. Complete cashiering and point-of-sale (POS) transactions, apply pricing, and use basic math and retail math accurately. Stock merchandise, manage inventory and inventory control, and implement planograms—visual guides for product placement—using mobile devices as needed. Maintain clean, organized displays; support branding, marketing, visual design, and visual merchandising projects, including remodeling and interior design work. Your impact: Accurate stocking and appealing displays help customers find products easily and enjoy a more welcoming shopping experience. Requirements Fish and/or coral experience and knowledge appreciated but not required Retail store experience and knowledge of retail sales, merchandising, planogram implementation, store management, and inventory management are useful; supervising experience and leadership are preferred where relevant. Strong organizational and time management skills; multilingual ability is a plus. Familiarity with schematics, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, visual design, content creation, and social media is incredibly helpful. Ability to use ladders, operate a standard passenger car, and safely perform manual handling, heavy lifting, and material handling equipment operation as required. Cleaning, cash handling, pricing, and training and development experience are valued.
