Retail Parts Professional / Service

Job description: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Parts and Service specialist to lead our parts, service operations. This pivotal role involves overseeing the entire parts department, service operations, and related logistics to ensure seamless customer experiences and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in supply chain management, diagnostics, inventory control, and supplier relations. As a leader in our organization, you will drive efficiency, optimize sourcing strategies, and foster a customer-centric environment that promotes growth and innovation. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of parts inventory control, procurement, sourcing, and distribution to ensure optimal stock levels and cost efficiency. Oversee the service department, including diagnostics, unit systems troubleshooting, body repair coordination, and OEM parts integration. Develop and implement supply chain strategies that enhance procurement management, demand planning, logistics inventory management, and shipping & receiving processes. Manage supplier relationships through negotiation, supplier management experience, and performance evaluations to secure quality parts at competitive prices. Utilize ERP systems, inventory management systems, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and order management systems to streamline operations and improve data accuracy. Coordinate with internal teams on parts administration, pricing strategies, internal communication, and customer service initiatives to ensure a smooth workflow. Monitor warehouse management activities including forklift operations, inventory management systems updates, and shipping & receiving procedures.
