Store Manager Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Mentorship: Manage employee scheduling, training, and daily performance. Coach and motivate your team to ensure an efficient, happy, and customer-focused workforce. Operational & Auction Oversight: Take the lead on our Weekly Auction Building process. Manage a high-foot-traffic, rapid-turnover environment where the entire store is reset weekly. You will oversee the sorting and logistics of thousands of unique items to ensure a seamless flow of exciting products. Sales & Service: Lead by example on the floor. Engage with customers to drive revenue, provide expert product recommendations, and handle any escalations with a professional, "customer-first" mindset. Inventory & Store Excellence: Maintain a pristine, organized, and safe shopping environment through diligent merchandising. Monitor stock levels, manage high-speed replenishments, and maintain organized back-of-house systems. Financial Integrity: Expertly operate the POS system, manage cash handling procedures, and apply "retail math" for accurate pricing, margins, and discount strategies. Qualifications and Requirements: Proven Leadership: Previous experience in retail management (experience in Grocery or high-volume retail is highly preferred). Dynamic Communication: The ability to effectively coach a team member and charm a customer in the same breath. Tech Savvy: Proficiency with POS systems and basic inventory management software. Math Fluency: Comfortable calculating margins, discounts, and processing complex transactions. Physical Agility: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 lbs, and stand for 100% of an 8-hour shift. Actively assist in inventory sorting and rapid restocking alongside your team.
