About the Role We are currently seeking a self-motivated, results-oriented RETAIL INVENTORY SPECIALIST. This fast-paced position combines customer service, fulfillment, merchandising, and inventory support to help create a well-organized and engaging shopping environment. You'll work collaboratively with a dynamic team, contribute to operational excellence, and help ensure customers receive the products and service they expect. The pay range is $18-$20.00 What You’ll Do Execute web order fulfillment processes, ensuring timely completion and a high level of customer satisfaction Process incoming and outgoing shipments, including pick-pack orders, backhauls, and return-to-vendor merchandise Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work area through cycle counts, replenishment, and merchandising support Support store operations by promoting loss prevention awareness and assisting with physical inventory preparation and execution Assist with floor set changes, displays, and merchandising resets Provide customer support, including carry-in and carry-out assistance as needed Ensure that customer service standards are met and that difficult customer situations are handled courteously and professionally Participate in store opening and closing procedures Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred Strong customer service mindset with a genuine interest in creating positive customer experiences Effective communication skills and the ability to assist multiple customers in a fast-paced environment Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Requires standing and walking throughout the store for the duration of each shift Requires frequent manual lifting and carrying of objects weighing 11–100 lbs to load, unload, and shelf products Requires the frequent use of manual tools, including pallet jacks, dollies, and flatbed carts, as well as the ability to navigate uneven ground and climb ladders Benefits That Support Your Growth and Well‑Being At Micro Center, we’re committed to taking care of our associates so they can thrive—both at work and in life.
