Retail Inventory Specialist

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Retail Inventory Specialist to manage, track, procure, produce, and maintain our store’s inventory. This role is essential to ensuring products are accurately stocked, well organized, and available to meet customer demand while supporting overall sales goals and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and experienced in retail inventory management, with a strong commitment to accuracy, organization, and teamwork. What You’ll Do Submit internal product requests Procure specialty stock inventory Organize and stock inventory in designated stockroom areas Rotate stock based on FIFO Produce and maintain backstock inventory Replenish merchandise to the sales floor as needed Work with Controller on product costs and retail pricing Accurately enter and update inventory data in the inventory management system Oversee inventory counts and product organization Support customer service initiatives; including opening, closing, and daily store operations as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized working environment Follow company policies, food safety policies, safety procedures, and handling protocols Support store team with additional tasks as directed Qualifications & Skills Previous experience in retail inventory, stockroom management, or warehouse support Familiarity with inventory management systems and POS software Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 25 pounds regularly Comfortable operating pallet jack (training available if needed) Ability to work scheduled hours during business operations, typically between 9:00 AM and 6:30 PM, including Saturdays as needed.
