Job Duties and Responsibilities of Retail Inventory Manager:
• Direct all store operations, encompassing tasks such as inventory control, planogram realignments, pricing activities, and scheduling staff hours within the approved payroll budget.
• Achieve optimal performance levels by regularly examining financial reports, conducting store audits, and ensuring operational compliance to uphold profitability and service quality.
• Develop, train, and oversee a team of colleagues and administrators through educational sessions, assessments, and career enhancement methods.
• Cultivate a culture centered on holding oneself accountable and embracing diversity to excel in meeting goals related to sales, customer engagement, labor costs, and inventory shrinkage.
• Keep in line with company standards by overseeing the execution of visual merchandising and marketing resets, as well as completing cycle counts and inventory adjustments.
• Forge positive relationships with vendors to facilitate seamless execution of shipping and product presentation guidelines.
• Direct store teams in maximizing customer engagement and operational efficiency during busy periods.
Qualifications and Experience of Retail Inventory Manager:
• Looking for individuals with a background of at least two to three years in retail or operational management in a rapidly changing environment.
• Successful leadership experience in driving sales growth, managing payroll finances, and meeting operational standards.
• Thorough understanding of inventory procedures, merchandising standards, and cultivating a customer-centric environment.
• Illustrated talent in heading, spurring, and upholding diverse teams amid intricate retail environments.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and mobile devices.
• Advanced communication proficiency, critical-thinking prowess, and organizational aptitude.
• - Required to have flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays, with Sundays and Mondays being essential.
