Schedule & Hours Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Morning Shift) 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM (30-Minute Meal Break) 12:30 PM – 4:00 PM (Afternoon Shift) Days Off: Saturdays and Sundays (No weekend shifts) Overtime: Periodic overtime available or required as needed based on store requirements. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and versatile Retail Inventory & Sales Associate to join our floor team. In this role, you will assist customers, manage component inventory, handle stock orders, and help keep daily store operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Showroom Floor Sales: Greet customers and assist them in locating specific electronic components, parts, tools, and hardware. Answer product questions and provide basic guidance on component selections. Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process cash and card transactions accurately. Stocking & Inventory Control: Unload shipments, verify order contents against packing slips, and restock floor bins and shelves. Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled displays and component bins. Monitor stock levels on the floor and assist with cycle counts and regular inventory audits. Ordering & Administrative Support: Track low-inventory items and prepare reorder lists for management or suppliers. Assist in placing replenishment orders with component vendors as needed. Additional Store Operations: Keep the sales floor, front counter, and storage areas clean, presentable, and organized. Perform other general retail duties as assigned by store management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or inventory management is preferred. Basic familiarity or interest in electronics, circuit components, soldering tools, or hardware is a strong plus. Strong verbal communication and active listening skills. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, stand for extended periods, and bend/reach to stock shelves.
