Retail General Manager-Cannabis Dispensary Operations

Job Summary We are seeking a highly organized Retail General Manager to support dispensary operations across Montana. This role helps ensure every location remains inspection-ready, maintains accurate METRC and inventory records, achieves sales goals, and has the staffing and training needed to succeed. In close partnership with the Director of Retail and fellow General Managers, you will promote consistent, efficient operations and compliance with all applicable Montana regulations. Responsibilities Maintain compliance readiness across all locations, including licenses, permits, certificates of analysis (COAs), and required postings. Prepare stores for announced and unannounced State inspections and track corrective actions to completion. Oversee inventory management, including receiving, transfers, audits, and reconciliation between Flowhub and METRC. Audit METRC receipt and sales records and resolve or escalate discrepancies. Track Montana marijuana worker permits and coordinate renewals with Human Resources. Review product labeling and promotional materials for compliance with state advertising rules. Track monthly sales KPIs, review competitor pricing, and recommend promotions to drive revenue. Support hiring by sourcing candidates and conducting interviews. Assist with staff training and performance. Execute marketing initiatives, including Instagram and Leafly promotions, SMS campaigns, and in-store materials. Expansion planning. Identify new locations and coordinate a compliant, timely setup and opening. Preferred Experience Experience with Flowhub point-of-sale and inventory software. Experience with METRC seed-to-sale tracking. Hiring and interviewing. Inventory management experience in a regulated retail environment. Cannabis regulatory compliance experience, including inspection preparation. Retail sales experience with a track record of meeting sales goals. Prior retail or dispensary management experience. Requirements Must hold or be able to obtain a Montana marijuana worker permit. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable with spreadsheets, data, and reporting. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to locations statewide. Availability during dispensary business hours, with flexibility for travel and State inspections. Physical Requirements Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
