About the Opportunity: The Retail Fulfillment Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end retail order fulfillment process. This role ensures that retail purchase orders are completed accurately and delivered on time by managing third-party logistics (3PL) relationships and fulfillment operations. The position supports the organization’s expanding retail presence by improving operational predictability and scalability. 3. Responsibilities: • Manage retail purchase orders from receipt through shipment, ensuring completeness and timeliness. • Proactively identify and resolve fulfillment risks such as inventory shortages or labeling issues. • Serve as the primary contact for the retail 3PL, monitoring performance and enforcing service level agreements. • Diagnose fulfillment issues and implement corrective actions. • Ensure compliance with retailer routing guides, dock appointments, and onboarding requirements. • Investigate and manage retailer chargebacks and deductions. • Coordinate dock appointments and resolve related conflicts. • Lead operational setup for new retail accounts including item data and compliance documentation. • Audit 3PL and freight invoices to identify and resolve discrepancies. • Monitor and optimize retail inventory levels to balance demand and avoid excess. • Support cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. • Identify slow-moving inventory and collaborate on disposition plans. • Maintain reporting tools and provide visibility into fulfillment performance and risks. • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability. 4. Requirements: • 5 to 7 years of experience in retail fulfillment, supply chain, or 3PL/warehouse operations, preferably in consumer packaged goods. • Experience managing 3PL relationships with SLA enforcement and performance monitoring. • Knowledge of major retailer compliance and routing guides such as Walmart, Target, or Costco. • Familiarity with EDI and ASN processes. • Experience auditing freight and 3PL invoices and resolving billing issues. • Strong understanding of inventory management concepts including safety stock and cycle counting. • Advanced skills in Excel or Google Sheets, and experience with WMS, ERP, or inventory systems. • Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes and recommend actions. • Effective communication skills and ability to hold external partners accountable. • Highly organized and detail-oriented. 5.
