Our Fort McMurray locations proudly serve retail customers, automotive repair facilities, commercial businesses, and industrial operations. Key Responsibilities Retail Sales & Customer Service Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional, and knowledgeable manner. Provide recommendations and solutions based on customers' automotive needs. Identify customer requirements using automotive knowledge, terminology, and parts catalogues. Actively promote products, accessories, and additional sales opportunities. Build and maintain positive relationships with retail and commercial customers. Respond to customer inquiries in person, over the phone, and electronically. Handle customer concerns, returns, and exchanges professionally. Point of Sale & Retail Transactions Process retail sales transactions accurately using computerized Point of Sale (POS) systems. Handle cash, debit, credit card, and account transactions. Accurately process invoices, payments, refunds, and returns. Maintain accuracy when entering customer information, pricing, and product details. Follow company procedures for cash handling and transaction processing. Automotive Parts & Product Knowledge Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts and accessories. Use electronic parts catalogues and inventory systems to locate products and confirm availability. Source and order automotive parts and related products as required. Demonstrate an understanding of automotive systems, components, and common industry terminology. Stay informed about product offerings, promotions, and new automotive technologies. Support merchandising, product displays, and maintaining a clean, organized retail environment. Required Qualifications Previous experience in a retail sales or customer service environment. Working knowledge of automotive parts, components, and industry terminology. Experience handling cash and processing transactions using a POS system. Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude. A sales-driven mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and recommend products. Comfortable using computers, electronic catalogues, and retail software. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in automotive parts sales, automotive retail, or a related industry. Experience working in an automotive aftermarket parts store, dealership parts department, or automotive service environment. Familiarity with automotive parts cataloguing and inventory management systems. Knowledge of aftermarket automotive parts, performance products, accessories, and tooling. Parts Technician apprenticeship training or Red Seal certification is considered an asset but is not required.
