Retail Associate

We are currently looking for a Part Time Retail Associate for City Vape in Crete, Ne. Preferably someone that is available nights and weekends. Must be atleast 21 years old. The position is starting at $15.00 per hour at around 25-35 hours per week. There will be opportunities for raises and growth within the company in the future as well.​ Job Overview Join our retail team as a part-time Retail Associate and become the friendly face that enhances the shopping experience for our valued customers. In this role, you will assist customers with their purchases, ensure customers are of legal age for products, provide advice and knowledge on products, and ensure the store remains inviting and well-organized. Your enthusiasm for retail sales will help customers feel welcome and find exactly what they need. Duties Greet customers warmly and offer personalized assistance. Check IDs and ensure customers are of legal age for purchasing any age-restricted products. Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling, credit card processing, and basic math. Maintain well-stocked shelves and ensure products are organized and visually appealing. Provide expert advice on store products. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels, and supporting stock replenishment efforts. Support customer inquiries via in-store communication or over the phone. Post appropriately on stores social media. Qualifications Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs. Knowledge of any smoke shop related products is a plus but not mandatory. Experience with retail sales processes including POS systems and cashiering. Basic organizational skills to manage stocking, merchandising, and inventory tasks. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Familiarity with retail math concepts such as pricing, discounts, and cash handling procedures. Enthusiasm for providing exceptional customer service and supporting store operations in a fast-paced setting.
