Retail Assistant Manager

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and responsible Key Holder to join our retail team! As a Key Holder, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and leading by example in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong leadership skills, retail management experience, and a passion for creating positive shopping experiences. You will be entrusted with opening and closing the store, managing daily operations, and supporting sales teams to meet and exceed goals. Your proactive attitude and organizational skills will help foster a welcoming atmosphere for both customers and staff. Duties Open and close the store securely, ensuring all safety protocols are followed Assist in managing daily store operations, including inventory control, merchandising, and stock replenishment Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering product knowledge Support sales associates through coaching, training, and supervising team members to enhance performance Handle cash register operations using POS systems, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities Assist with employee orientation, onboarding new team members, and supporting ongoing training & development initiatives Oversee inventory management tasks such as purchasing, stock organization, pricing adjustments, and inventory audits Ensure adherence to company policies on merchandising standards, pricing accuracy, and operational procedures Manage shift schedules, supervise team members during shifts, and communicate managerial directives effectively Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates for retail positions Maintain organized records related to payroll, bookkeeping, sales transactions, and operational reports Experience Proven experience in retail sales management or supervisory roles within the retail industry Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, inventory management software, and basic math skills Strong leadership abilities with previous experience supervising teams or managing store operations Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and provide clear managerial guidance Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases effectively Experience in negotiating with vendors or suppliers is a plus Familiarity with retail industry sales techniques such as upselling and cross-selling is advantageous Prior experience in grocery stores or wireless sales environments is beneficial but not required Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced setting Join us as a Key Holder to lead our team with enthusiasm!
