Retail Assistant Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant retail team! Duties Oversee daily store operations, ensuring smooth workflow and operational efficiency Lead, supervise, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer service Manage inventory control, including stock replenishment, merchandising, and purchasing to maximize sales opportunities Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional activities to boost store performance Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for cashiering, sales processing, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity Monitor sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and participate in budgeting and operational planning Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, and inventory transactions in compliance with company policies Support management in supervising shift schedules, managing budgets, and ensuring adherence to health & safety standards Experience Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within the retail industry with a focus on sales team management Demonstrated success in retail sales management, including inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies Strong leadership skills with experience in supervising teams and managing daily store operations Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, payroll processing, and basic bookkeeping practices Experience in recruiting, interviewing, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions Knowledge of retail math concepts such as sales calculations, budgeting, and inventory valuation Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills combined with excellent phone etiquette and customer service expertise Join us as a Retail Assistant Manager where your leadership fuels success!
