Ugly Mug DinerJob Description: Ugly Mug Diner is seeking a reliable and organized Restaurant Operations Manager to oversee daily restaurant activities and ensure efficient operations. The ideal candidate will lead the team, maintain excellent customer service, manage staffing and inventory, monitor costs, and ensure consistent food quality and a welcoming dining experience. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily restaurant operations and service activities. Supervise, train, and motivate front-of-house and kitchen staff. Develop staff schedules and coordinate shift coverage. Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction. Handle customer complaints and resolve service issues professionally. Monitor food quality, presentation, and order accuracy. Manage inventory, supplies, and stock replenishment. Coordinate with suppliers and oversee purchasing. Monitor sales, expenses, labor costs, and operational budgets. Minimize food waste and improve operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Oversee cash handling, POS transactions, and daily sales records. Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback. Ensure dining areas, kitchen spaces, and equipment remain clean and organized. Coordinate kitchen and service teams during busy periods. Implement procedures to improve workflow and service quality. Prepare operational reports and communicate performance updates to management. Ensure opening, closing, and shift handover procedures are completed properly. Qualifications & Skills: Previous experience in restaurant operations or hospitality management. Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Knowledge of restaurant workflows and food service standards. Understanding of inventory management, budgeting, and cost control. Familiarity with POS systems and sales reporting. Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Professional attitude, reliability, and attention to detail. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
