Overview:


The Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) Manager will monitor and manage the development and performance of factories to minimize risk, drive supply chain compliance and uphold positive working conditions globally. This position requires working with a global team to strategize the direction and growth opportunities for the RSC department and individual team members. 


  

Key Accountabilities:

  • Partner with executive leadership to align program and business objectives
  • Manage the process of factory development, approval, monitoring and divest within the context of our licensors’ requirements
  • Partner with the Sourcing team during factory onboarding to monitor risks and performance of potential new factories and throughout the business relationship to drive production to the top performing factories
  • Manage and analyze data collection to measure RSC performance of Haddad Brand’s products and supply chains
  • Create and measure new metrics based on supply chain data to identify trends and improve supply chain performance
  • Develop and execute effective strategies to ensure the RSC department is meeting internal, licensor and regulatory requirements and expectations
  • Identify and monitor sustainability goals and initiatives driven by both licensors and industry trends to standardize sustainability practices into Haddad business needs.
  • Direct a field team designed to provide local guidance on meeting RSC expectations
  • Represent Haddad RSC during Licensor engagements
  • Own reporting relationships and obligations to Licensors
  • Oversee and ensure RSC obligations to retail customers such as Costco, Kohl’s, Foot Locker, Wal-Mart etc. are being met.
  • Manage RSC obligations to external stakeholders and programs such as Fair Labor Association, Worker Rights Consortium, Better Cotton Initiative, Better Work, and Sustainable Apparel Coalition
  • Develop supply chain risk analysis methodology to facilitate comparative evaluation of distinct risk indicators and calculate supplier non-compliance and brand risk score
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with Sourcing and Design teams as well as with our overseas Country Manager, Merchandising and Quality Assurance teams, licensors and Third Party Service Providers. 
  • Keep current with licensor RSC expectations, requirements and ambitions, as well as monitor sector specific and global sustainability trends and identify actionable initiatives 
  • Special projects as assigned
Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 3+ years experience in corporate social responsibility, supply chain management, industrial hygiene/safety, manufacturing/industrial engineering, sustainability, or related field
  • Recommended experience visiting and working with factories, preferably in the textile industry
  • Demonstrated knowledge with HSE and Labor regulations, environmental sustainability and energy concepts, production management systems, regulatory agencies, unions
  • Ability to coach and collaborate with peers in Sourcing, Development and Production located both in same office and foreign countries
  • Ability to work with a remote multi-cultural team
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally 
Salary Description
$75,000 - $110,000 per year
