What You'll Do As a Parts Runner, you'll be an essential part of our Residential HVAC Service team, helping technicians stay productive and ensuring materials arrive where they're needed, when they're needed. Keep the Team Moving: Pick up and deliver HVAC parts, equipment, and materials between suppliers, warehouses, and job sites. Ensure Accuracy: Verify parts and materials against purchase orders and delivery tickets to help maintain accurate records. Support Field Technicians: Assist with loading, unloading, and handling tools, equipment, and materials as needed. Keep Operations Organized: Return unused materials, warranty items, and purchasing documentation to the warehouse. Help Manage Inventory: Perform routine inventory counts and report shortages, damaged items, or discrepancies. Communicate Effectively: Stay in contact with dispatchers, technicians, and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries and material needs. Maintain Vehicle Readiness: Keep your company vehicle clean, safe, and well-maintained, and complete routine vehicle inspections. Work Safely: Follow all company safety policies and procedures while representing GSM Services professionally.
