Resident Transportation Driver
Orchard Manor Inc.Are you dependable, compassionate, and enjoy helping others? We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Resident Transportation Driver to join our team! This position helps ensure residents arrive safely and on time for medical appointments, treatments, and other scheduled transportation needs. WHAT YOU’LL DO Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, treatments, and scheduled outings. Assist residents with entering and exiting vehicles and safely secure wheelchairs and mobility equipment. Ensure residents are comfortable and treated with dignity and respect. Coordinate transportation schedules with nursing staff and facility leadership. Maintain vehicle cleanliness, complete routine safety inspections, and report maintenance concerns. Follow facility policies, transportation safety procedures, and resident confidentiality requirements. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required. Must successfully complete a motor vehicle record (MVR) check. Must meet facility driving and insurance eligibility requirements. Previous resident or patient transportation experience preferred, but not required. Experience assisting seniors or individuals with mobility limitations is a plus. Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs. Dependable, punctual, organized, and compassionate with strong communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team; willingness to complete required training. Must be CPR certified or willing to go get the certification for employment.
