Reserve Residential Mover

About the position EGA Moving Co. is hiring reserve movers to support residential moves throughout Sacramento and surrounding communities. You will help load, transport, and unload customers’ belongings while working under a crew leader. This is an on-call reserve position. There is no guaranteed weekly schedule or minimum number of hours. We contact reserve movers as jobs become available and confirm assignments before each move. Responsibilities Load and unload furniture, boxes, and household belongings. Wrap furniture and protect floors, walls, and doorways. Safely use dollies, moving straps, and other equipment. Assist with basic furniture disassembly and reassembly. Follow crew leader instructions and work efficiently with teammates. Treat customers and their property with care. Report damage, injuries, and safety concerns promptly. Keep equipment and work areas clean. Qualifications Dependable, punctual, and professional. Reliable transportation to assigned reporting locations. Ability to perform physical moving duties, including lifting, carrying, climbing stairs, and prolonged standing, with reasonable accommodation where applicable. Willingness to use team lifts and equipment for heavy or awkward items. Ability to follow instructions and communicate clearly. Moving, warehouse, delivery, or construction experience preferred; no moving experience required. Availability Early morning and weekend availability is preferred. Shift length and job locations vary. Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 – 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
