Repo Yard Attendant (Outside job)

Job Type: Part Time and Full-Time Position: Repo Yard Assistant Job Summary We are seeking a dependable, organized, and hardworking Repo Yard Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with the daily operations of our repossession storage yard, including receiving and releasing vehicles, maintaining accurate records, organizing the yard, and ensuring vehicles and customer personal property are handled properly and securely. Responsibilities Assist with receiving and checking in repossessed vehicles. Verify vehicle information, including VINs, license plates, and condition. Take and maintain vehicle photos and documentation as required. Safely organize and move vehicles within the storage yard. Assist with customer vehicle release and redemption appointments. Verify required identification and paperwork before releasing vehicles. Handle and document personal property found inside vehicles. Maintain accurate yard inventory and records. Keep the yard, office, and vehicle areas clean and organized. Assist drivers and field agents when vehicles are delivered to the yard. Communicate professionally with customers, agents, finance companies, and coworkers. Follow all company procedures regarding vehicle security, documentation, and personal property. Report any vehicle damage, discrepancies, incidents, or security concerns to management. Perform other yard and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to communicate professionally with customers and coworkers. Basic computer skills and ability to learn company software. Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions. Ability to safely move around and inspect vehicles. Valid driver’s license required. Previous experience in a towing, repossession, automotive, transportation, or storage-yard environment is a plus, but not required . Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed throughout the workday. Ability to safely assist with moving vehicles and handling personal property.
