What you’ll do Diagnose and repair electric slicers: motors, switches, wiring, and cords Test repaired units to make sure they run safely before they go out Keep simple records of each repair (issue, parts used, fix) Pack and ship customer orders and repaired units accurately and on time Receive incoming units and parts, and keep the workspace and inventory organized Work independently much of the time, so you’ll manage your own workload and priorities What we’re looking for Hands-on experience with small motors, appliance repair, electronics, or electrical work Comfortable with a multimeter, soldering, and basic hand tools Reliable, detail-oriented, and a self-starter who is comfortable working alone Able to lift 50 lbs and handle packing and shipping tasks Bonus: commercial kitchen equipment experience or prior shipping/fulfillment work Pay and schedule $20-$22/hour during a paid training period During and at the end of training, we’ll review performance and fit together and decide whether to continue (30 days & 60 days) $25-$30/hour after training/evaluation period, based on experience and efficiency Part-time with flexible hours Location Colchester, VT (on-site) Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week Application Question(s): Have you repaired motors, appliances, or electrical equipment before?
