The company values safety, professionalism, and strong customer service in all aspects of its operations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Rental Sales role based in Tampa, FL. The Rental Sales team member will handle incoming rental inquiries, assist walk-in customers, and be making outside sales calls with their personal vehicle ,reach out to local businesses to promote truck leasing and rental services. Daily responsibilities include preparing rental agreements, explaining terms and conditions, coordinating vehicle availability, and ensuring accurate documentation for each transaction. The role also involves maintaining regular communication with operations and service teams to confirm vehicle readiness, scheduling pickups and returns, and resolving basic customer issues. In addition, the Rental Sales team member will update customer records, track rental activity, support basic account management, and contribute to sales targets by identifying opportunities for additional services or longer-term leases. Qualifications Customer service and communication skills, including the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and present solutions clearly to commercial clients. Sales and negotiation abilities, such as qualifying leads, discussing pricing and terms, and closing rental or lease agreements in a professional manner. Organizational and administrative skills, including managing paperwork, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating schedules for vehicle pickups and returns. Basic business and computer skills, including familiarity with office software, data entry, and using rental or CRM systems to track customer information. Knowledge or interest in commercial trucks, transportation, or fleet operations, with the ability to learn product details and explain vehicle options to customers. Ability to work on-site in Tampa, FL, collaborate with service and operations teams, and adapt to a fast-paced environment with changing customer needs. Previous experience in sales, rental, leasing, or customer-facing roles is preferred; experience in the truck or automotive industry is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or relevant certifications in business, sales, or transportation are beneficial.
