This position is the technical core of our distribution center, responsible for getting every truck on the lot inspected, documented, and rent ready. You'll pick and prep units for delivery, complete checkout and check-in inspections, bring brand new trucks from the manufacturer into service, and keep the yard moving from returned to rent ready. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility and a real path forward. It's the kind of role our own leadership started in, and strong performers are first in line as the company grows. Requirements Pick and prepare trucks for customer orders using system-generated picking lists, selecting the lowest-mileage unit that meets the order Confirm every unit is clean, current on service, and eligible before it leaves the lot Complete checkout and check-in inspections on a tablet, including photos, fuel, mileage, and damage Enter return charges within one business day of every return Receive new trucks from the manufacturer and complete the pre-delivery inspection Install GPS tracking devices, apply company logos, and place unit number barcodes on new trucks Move trucks through yard stages (returned, inspection, repair, wash, rent ready) and keep the system up to date Stage trucks for transport or customer pickup and assist with customer handovers Partner with the wash bay team to keep work moving as demand shifts through the week Cover yard operations when the Branch Manager is out Support lot audits and inventory counts Always maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and facility Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Follow all company safety policies and procedures Strong attention to detail Mechanical aptitude and comfort installing devices, decals, and barcodes Comfortable using tablets and software Ability to drive and position commercial trucks up to 26,000 lbs. Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
