As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dependable and motivated Remote Logistics Coordinator to join our team and help support the day-to-day execution of our freight operations. The Position As a Logistics Coordinator, you’ll play an important role in keeping freight moving and ensuring our customers receive the level of service they expect from TruPoint. You’ll work closely with our Logistics Account Executives while communicating directly with carriers, drivers, customers, and other members of our team. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. This isn’t simply a position where you’ll watch freight move on a screen. You’ll be actively involved in solving problems, communicating updates, coordinating shipments, and helping ensure loads are picked up and delivered successfully. Responsibilities Track and trace active shipments from pickup through delivery Communicate directly with carriers and drivers regarding shipment status Provide proactive shipment updates to customers and internal team members Schedule pickup and delivery appointments when necessary Assist with carrier communication and load coverage Identify potential service issues before they become larger problems Communicate delays, missed appointments, breakdowns, and other exceptions quickly and professionally Maintain accurate shipment notes and documentation within our transportation management system Obtain and organize PODs and other required shipment documentation Assist Logistics Account Executives with daily operational needs Build professional relationships with carriers, customers, and members of the TruPoint team Help ensure every shipment receives the level of attention and service our customers expect What We’re Looking For We’re looking for someone who is: Highly organized and detail-oriented A strong communicator by phone, email, and messaging Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities without constant supervision Dependable and accountable Comfortable making and receiving phone calls throughout the workday Confident communicating with drivers, carriers, customers, and coworkers Able to recognize problems and take initiative to help solve them Comfortable learning new technology and transportation systems Able to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a remote team Previous transportation, freight brokerage, dispatch, customer service, or logistics experience is preferred, but we’re willing to consider candidates with strong communication skills, reliability, and the right attitude who are eager to learn the transportation industry. Remote Work Expectations This is a fully remote position , but it is not a flexible-hours or work-at-your-own-pace role. Transportation is a real-time business. Our customers, carriers, and drivers depend on us throughout the workday, so team members are expected to be available, responsive, and actively engaged during their scheduled working hours. Candidates must have a professional, distraction-free workspace and reliable high-speed internet.
